The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has introduced two innovative resources to address the needs of the state's expanding senior population. The first initiative, TBI Find, is a mobile application now available for both Apple and Android devices. This app connects users with real-time information regarding Silver Alerts issued in Tennessee. After more than two years of development, TBI Find also offers essential resources to help seniors and their caregivers access support and educational materials.
In addition to the mobile app, TBI has launched the SafeSeniorTN campaign, which can be accessed online at www.SafeSeniorTN.com. This initiative combines the expertise of agents from TBI's Medicaid Fraud Control Division and Cybercrime & Digital Evidence Unit. Supported by partner agencies and other stakeholders, SafeSeniorTN provides straightforward guidance on a range of topics related to technology, financial, and personal safety, all aimed at preventing crimes that affect seniors.
