Tullahoma presents the seventh annual Oktoberfest event, set to take place this Saturday, October 12, at the South Jackson Performing Arts Center. The event promises to bring a taste of German culture to the local community.
The festivities will run from noon to 8 p.m. at the South Jackson grounds and Patio Stage, offering a plethora of activities for attendees to enjoy. German-inspired food and a selection of beers from various food trucks and craft vendors will be available throughout the day.
The event will commence with a historical tasting by George Dickel at 12:30 p.m., followed by Dickel cocktails. Attendees can then dance to the lively tunes of the German Polka Band, set to perform at 2 p.m.

Moreover, attendees can look forward to a kids zone featuring games, face painting, prizes, contests, and crafts from noon to 6 p.m., a German Car Show from 2 to 4 p.m., a live auction at 4 p.m., and much more.
SJPAC officials highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “October is National Arts & Humanities Month, a time to recognize the significance of arts and culture. What better way to celebrate than by joining us for a fantastic cultural event – Oktoberfest at the Patio Stage and grounds of South Jackson Performing Arts Center!”
