Jelene Ola Finney Smith of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed from this life on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at NHC of Tullahoma at the age of 95 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11;00 AM until the time of service.
A Coffee County native, she is the daughter of the late Warner and Pearl Weaver Finney. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Davis and her second husband, Ivy Smith, brothers, Boyd Dale, Felix and Preston Finney, and sister, Jestine Woody.
Jelene was a member of Marble Plains Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She loved to volunteer her time and loved cooking, camping, traveling and helping others.
She is survived by her stepson, John (Angela) Smith of Lynchburg, Tennessee, step-daughter, Teresa (Derrick) Carter of Winchester, Tennessee, nephew, Jimmy (Charlotte) Woody of Arkansas, and five grandchildren, Dillon, Jacob, Braiden, Brianna and Nick.
