Ellen Farris Buckner of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 80 years.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday evening, December 9, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Daves- Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Per Ellen’s request, cremation will follow.
A native of Winchester, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice Woosley Farris. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Reynolds Buckner, grandson, Clarence Buckner, and eleven siblings.
Ellen loved God and loved attending church with her church family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and laughter was always a part of that. Her smile and kind and gentle nature will forever be missed.
Her survivors include her children. Amus DeWayne Buckner, Debbie Booth and Teena Bright all of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brother, Edward Farris of Greenville, Tennessee, sisters, Mary Vandermark of Cowan, Tennessee, Carol Farris of Tullahoma, Tennessee, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
