Franklin County is taking a stand against human trafficking by hosting a community awareness event on Friday, January 10th, at 11 AM. The event will take place at the Franklin County Mayor's Office, located at 855 Dinah Shore Blvd.
Central to the event will be a Proclamation Signing, which aims to underscore the county's commitment to preventing human trafficking in the community.
Participants are encouraged to wear blue to demonstrate their support and to raise awareness for this critical issue. The event's organizers emphasize that human trafficking is a crime, and they advocate for the message that "no one is for sale."
The Tennessee Alliance for Drug Endangered Children and the Franklin County Prevention Coalition are collaborating to coordinate this important event.
