In Friday's contest, Sequatchie County jumped ahead early, capitalizing on an error in the first inning before extending their lead with four runs in the second inning thanks to RBI triples from their #1 and #5 hitters. The lead grew further when Madison blasted a home run to left field in the third inning, adding two more runs.

The game was essentially decided in the sixth inning when Sequatchie County erupted for five runs on four hits. Despite Kaylee Morris play putting Madison into a fielder's choice, Sequatchie County's #1 hitter delivered a clutch single that drove in two runs, and additional scoring followed.

For Franklin County, Morris led the offense going 3-for-4 at the plate, while Kaitlyn Montgomery contributed with two walks. The Rebelettes showed patience at the plate, accumulating five walks for the game, but couldn't match Sequatchie County's offensive firepower.

In the circle, Dalayna Marshall started for Franklin County but struggled, allowing nine hits and eight runs (seven earned) over three innings while striking out two and walking two. Morris pitched four innings in relief, giving up eight hits and six runs (five earned) with one strikeout and one walk.

Sequatchie County was led by their #1 hitter who went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, while their #5 player also collected three hits and stole two bases. Overall, Sequatchie County amassed 17 hits and stole eight bases in an impressive offensive display.

Tuesday's game against Cascade started promisingly for the Rebelettes when Kyleigh Decamp doubled in the first inning, driving in two runs to give Franklin County an early 2-0 lead.

However, Cascade quickly responded in the bottom half, scoring five runs on three hits to take a 5-2 lead. Their #14 hitter delivered the biggest blow with a two-run single.

Franklin County showed resilience in the second inning, tying the game 5-5 thanks to timely hitting from Kaitlyn Montgomery (single) and Alex Hand (double).

The tie was short-lived as Cascade took control in the bottom of the third, scoring eight runs on three hits, highlighted by a two-run double from their #11 batter. This offensive explosion gave Cascade a commanding 13-5 lead they wouldn't relinquish.

Despite collecting 10 hits to Cascade's nine, Franklin County couldn't capitalize on their opportunities. Kyleigh Decamp, Madi Morris, Addison Partin, and Alex Hand each collected two hits for the Rebelettes. Hand was particularly effective, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs from the catcher position.

Dalayna Marshall again started for Franklin County and struggled, allowing three hits and eight runs (six earned) in 2⅓ innings while striking out two and walking four. Cascade's #9 pitcher was effective, allowing 10 hits but only five runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out six and walking three.

Cascade showed excellent plate discipline with eight walks and ran wild on the base paths, stealing five bases and turning one double play.

The Rebelettes will look to bounce back on Thursday when they travel to face Central Magnet Lady Tigers in Murfreesboro.
