Lawrenceburg, TN – In a tightly contested matchup, the Franklin County Rebelettes secured a narrow 42-40 victory over the Lawrence County Lady Wildcats in a game that came down to the final seconds.
With the outcome hanging in the balance, Lawrence County’s Sophie Cole was sent to the free-throw line for three crucial attempts. However, she was only able to convert one of the three, allowing Franklin County to maintain their lead and seal the victory.
Franklin County built a slim lead heading into halftime, but Lawrence County came out aggressive in the third quarter, applying relentless full-court pressure on the Rebelettes.
