Franklin County Girls' Soccer Wins First First-Ever State Tournament Match

On Wednesday evening, the Franklin County Rebelettes soccer team traveled to Chattanooga to compete in the TSSAA State Tournament quarterfinals. Franklin County played the Greenville Green Devils, with the winner advancing to the state semi-finals.

Franklin County was led by Cali Banks, who scored two goals, and Osiris Rodriguez, who added two assists and a goal in the Rebelettes' 5-0 win.

The ladies from Winchester are competing in their fourth straight TSSAA State Tournament; Wednesday night's win was the first in school history.

Franklin County (18-3-1) will be back in action on Thursday at 5:30 CT as they take on Signal Mountain (15-6-1) at Chattanooga Christian School.
