At the recent Manchester Water and Sewer Department Commission Meeting on October 3, 2024, Jeff Perry, the Director of MWSD, made a surprising announcement. He revealed that Tanner Frick, an employee of the department, had showcased his singing talent as a contestant on the popular TV show "The Voice".
"The Voice" is a well-known American singing reality competition that premiered on NBC on April 26, 2011. The show, now in its 25th season, is dedicated to discovering exceptional singing talents, whether professional or amateur, through public auditions.
Featuring a panel of four coaches, "The Voice" offers contestants the opportunity to receive feedback on their performances and be guided by their chosen coach throughout the season. The coaches compete against each other to lead their team to victory, earning the title of the winning coach.
During his audition on the show, Tanner Frick managed to impress all four coaches with his vocal abilities. Ultimately, he selected Reba McEntire as his coach, much to the disappointment of the other coaches - Michael Buble, Gwen Stefani, and Snoop Dog.
