With just a few days left, early voting turnout in Tennessee has surpassed 30%. Early voting for the Nov. 5 General Election ends Oct. 31.
On Friday, Oct. 25, the Tennessee Secretary of State’s office said 1,450,625 voters had cast their ballots in the Volunteer State. This surpasses 2016 numbers by 31% after the ninth day of early voting, but it’s still almost 7% lower than the turnout for the 2020 election.
Despite being down slightly in the state, early voting in Franklin County has been good, with 7,243 voters casting ballots, up by 444 from 2020.
